This stuff is just cheap junk pretending to be high-end. I bought a stainless steel mixer tap that cost a fortune, but it came with a nasty blemish on the top that was part of the metal itself—couldn't even get it off, even with my engineer buddy's help. After only three years (yep, just THREE YEARS), both the hot and cold started leaking, then it turned into a dribble. The ceramic cartridges gave out. THREE YEARS! Meanwhile, the old taps in my utility room have only needed a washer change once in 30 years and are still going strong. Fixing the Franke would set me back £60 plus installation. What a joke for quality! I ended up spending just a bit more on a new mixer tap and tossed the Franke in the bin. Such a shameful product.

I can't give less than one star, so here we are. This company really gets under my skin with their poor product quality and awful customer service. We purchased a Franke Acona stainless steel sink, and just four days in, it was already scratched up and showing rust spots. Franke claims that stainless steel can't rust, blaming it on particles from the water or the installation that I supposedly didn’t clean properly. The scratches? They say that’s 'normal' and that it’ll eventually develop a 'nice patina' over time—conveniently after the warranty expires! They also insisted that we caused the scratches by putting stuff in or on the sink. Seriously?! Thankfully, we bought it through Screwfix, who actually took our concerns seriously. They refunded us and even worked out a deal for replacing the worktops if any damage occurred during the sink removal. (Franke seems to have changed their fitting system just to save a few bucks.) We managed to get that poorly made, overpriced sink out without causing any damage, but I wouldn’t touch another Franke sink with a ten-foot pole. Their excuse for selling such low-quality sinks made me feel downright nauseous.

This product is completely useless. The kettle for boiling water keeps short-circuiting, likely due to some cracks in the hose. Of course, there's no warranty since the required bi-annual filter change of 160 wasn't done on time.

I will NEVER buy from Franke again.

Update 2023-02-08: And here comes the usual response from Franke.

I had the valves for my Franke Eiger tap swapped out during a kitchen redo four years back, and they replaced them at no cost after just a couple of emails. Really impressive customer support!

Wendy provided excellent assistance. My Eiger tap began to leak today (it's just past the 3-year mark), and I was informed that a fresh set of valve cartridges would be dispatched today.

We scheduled a service visit for our boiling water tap since it had begun to flow pretty slowly. The technician clarified the issue and looked into how we were operating the tap. When I mentioned my arthritis, he offered some really useful tips to make it simpler to use. He provided us with great advice, and we opted to upgrade to a model that was more user-friendly for me. He managed to install the new tap right then and there and even gave us a nice discount. There was zero pressure to make a purchase. He was incredibly kind and supportive. We’re thrilled with our new tap. Thanks for the fantastic service!

I installed a Franke Eiger tap in my kitchen about four years back, and it started to drip annoyingly. I checked the Franke website and found out their valves come with a five-year warranty, so I reached out to their customer service through the online form. They asked me for a copy of my invoice, which I scanned and sent over, and I got a quick acknowledgment back. They informed me that the replacement valves were on their way via Royal Mail First Class. To top it all off, I received a call from Wendy in customer service, just to see if I was satisfied with everything. Big thanks to Wendy! Honestly, it’s hard to picture a more friendly and effective customer service experience. From my first contact to a happy resolution, it took less than three hours!

After getting our new kitchen put in around June/July 2022, we ran into a little hiccup with our Franke sink unit a few weeks later. We reached out to Franke Customer Service, and after sending them some photos of the issue along with proof of purchase, they confirmed that an engineer would come by to check it out on January 4th. The issue got sorted out, and we can’t say enough good things about the engineer and the Customer Service team. Top-notch work, and a big thanks to everyone involved!

In a lapse of attention, I ended up damaging my shiny new Franke sink. I reached out to Franke to see if there was any chance of fixing it. They informed me that, sadly, it couldn't be repaired but were kind enough to offer a replacement at no cost. Of course, I jumped at their kind proposal.

I got an Ancona faucet as part of my new kitchen from Magnet. After six years, the spout seal and valve units needed replacing. Then, after nine years, I had to swap out the spout seal again. While I was taking off the spout, it broke in two, so I had to get a whole new faucet. Honestly, I thought it would hold up longer than that.

Top-notch support from the company. I got a Franke Waste Disposal from my kitchen installer. After three years, I spotted some water dripping into the cupboard under the sink. A nearby plumber directed me back to Franke. I shared some pictures and my proof of purchase, and just three days after I shot them an email, they got back to me saying they’d send a new unit at no cost. Big thanks to Franke! I definitely recommend them.

What a total disaster the waste provided with these sinks has been. The UK sizes are supposed to be 32mm and 40mm, but oh no, not with Franke; it’s more like 38mm and 35mm. So I’m still stuck not being able to finish the sink. They’ve been selling a ton of sinks in this country for years, and they still can’t get this right. And before anyone suggests using a different kit, the push twist plugs make that impossible. They really need to fix this issue because it’s just not fair to the customers.

I purchased the Franke SD80 soap dispenser back in April 22, and just five months later, the bottle started leaking. I can't believe I forked out nearly £50 for something so poorly made from flimsy plastic. This company really takes advantage of customers. I've reached out to them, but I'm still waiting on a replacement. They clearly don't give a hoot.
